Photo of the Week #3

I am very lucky to live where I live. Many people think the UK is dull compared to some exotic and far-flung destinations. I suppose it's all too easy to get stuck in your daily routine and not really see what is in front of you. But you don't have to spend lots or travel far to experience unique natural beauty. Yes I run a travel blog sharing my experiences from across the globe, but of all the places I've been, I admire the beauty of home the most.

Wales is a small but stunning country with vast coastlines and rugged mountains. This photo was taken at the peak of Pen y Fan; the tallest mountain in South Wales, giving incredible panoramic views of the South Wales valleys. Interestingly, the mountain is used as part of the selection process for the UK special forces, and I can vouch, it's quite a climb!

Location: Pen y Fan, Brecon Beacons, South Wales.
